Chris Mahre grew up in farm country in central Washington State. In 1986, he received his Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University and in 1990 he received a Juris Doctorate from Seattle University School of Law. While in Washington for eight years, Chris served as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney and was a candidate for District Attorney and State Representative. After operating his own practice in Washington, he moved to Grand Junction, CO in 2001. Chris is a member of Colorado and Mesa County Bar Associations, Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, Colorado West Estate Planning Counsel, Grand Junction Horizon Sunrise Rotary Club, and was a past member of the National Ski Patrol.

Trish Mahre is a seasoned attorney and former Assistant District Attorney for Colorado’s 21st Judicial District, serving Mesa County. A Grand Junction native, Trish graduated from Grand Junction High School in 1984, earned her B.S. in Business from the University of Colorado in 1988, and received her Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law in 1991. She began her legal career as a prosecutor in Washington State, where she handled criminal cases for Clark County and served as the municipal prosecutor for the City of Kelso. Since returning to Colorado and joining the Mesa County District Attorney’s Office in 2003, Trish has prosecuted some of the region’s most serious felony cases, including homicides and crimes against children.
In addition to her work in the courtroom, Trish is deeply involved in her community. She was appointed to the Mesa County Valley School District 51 Board of Education in 2020, where she played an active role in shaping local education policies. Known for her commitment to public service, Trish serves on the board of directors for Riverside Education Centers and Community Concerts of the Grand Valley. Trish Mahre continues to be a respected leader in both the legal and civic arenas of Western Colorado.

Handled my father;s estate - Chris Mahre is professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and a fierce advocate for justice. I became acquainted with Chris five years ago after my father passed away. He started out handling the estate proceedings. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the proceedings became extremely protected. We endured a lawsuit and then attempts to collect a judgment against the person causing the lawsuit. Had an issue with a seller trying negate an initial agreement to purchase her real estate. I made an appointment with Chris and we went over my situation and was advised on how to handle the situation.
